JUST A CITY BOY — Italy — StormClan — tags
The Wild was... confusing. Feral. Strange. Intimidating. When he was first thrown into the world outside of the humans and frisbees, Italy was lost. He didn't know what to do, who he could trust, or what in the world was going on. No one gave him food like the humans did, and very few were helpful. Luckily he quickly learned how to hunt, and while his skills weren't the best, it was enough to survive. He was fast and hadn't gotten into to many scuffles, so his fur remained neat and unscarred- though it had lost its healthy gleam. He had a couple health issues as well, such as scratched pads and dietary problems, but overall he was better than he thought he'd be. Healthy enough to stay alive.
Being thrown into such conditions made him wary and rather untrusting. Though he learned fast. Eavesdropping, hunting, defense, shelter, all things nessecary for survival and then some. Normally for the collie, winter meant it got cold but didn't effect food, but he figured out that in the wild, winter meant a lack of food and tensions growing thick. Luckily for him he had the summer to learn, but he knew he had to get help. Word got around to him of a group of animals that stuck together- something about storms? He heard both good and bad things, but with winter right around the corner he'd be willing to give this thing a shot. He'd rather survive.
So the canine made his way over to the scent line, knowing that was where the territory started via rumors. He was nervous, in all honesty, but Italy convinced himself that he had to give this a shot, it was his best chance at survival. They would help him, he wouldn't have to worry as much as he was. So he sat there, sniffing the air and trying to make sense of what was going on, and waiting to see what would happen next.

JUST A CITY BOY — Italy — StormClan — tags
He was expecting some sort of sign that someone was coming- pawsteps, a voice, a scent, something. Not just HELLO I AM HERE DONT BE SCARED I JUST POPPED OUT OF THIN AIR. So when the lion did appear, Italy jumped back a bit with a startled yelp, tail between his legs. A wolf and a cat came soon after, and his gaze quickly flicked between the trio. They seemed welcoming and friendly, though Italy hadn't known that teleportation was a thing so he was thoroughly spooked. After a moment his posture relaxed, going to a more neutral state. No one else was going to scare him right? "Er, I was looking to join?" the border collie said, glancing around almost nervously, as if another large creature was going to jump out. "Is anyone else going to poof out and scare us all shitless?" the male questioned, questioning several things he thought had been true.

The lion spoke again, saying several things that caught his interest. Clan of magic was intriguing. Did he have to learn magic to join? Oh well, he'd find out soon enough. The other thing that caught his attention was the fact that there were a couple Spanish words thrown in there. So Spanish wasn't an uncommon language? Cool. Might as well test the dude. "Gracias Fernando, me llamo Italy." The canine said. Nothing fancy, but if you didn't know the language then you are likely to be confused. Then the lion teleported behind him and brushed his cheek, causing Italy to spin around in a startled manner and attempt to nip the other's paw out of reflex. It wasn't a very well aimed shot, nor did Italy mean it, though it was still attempted. "Hijo de puta!" he yelped.
/sorry for any spelling mistakes, I haven't gotten the Spanish keyboard to autocorrect is mean

Italy can do a talk about the origins and history of Halloween? Probably this Sunday the 29th. And then maybe as a group we can do a haunted trail event/oneshot contest? On Halloween or something. I might be able to set it up

For this week Italy can talk about the Mongols and war strategies of them because why not that's what I'm learning in world history rn
I can get up it maybe tonight? If not then tomorrow, or we can just push it to next week because we're already halfway through this week

Italy went over as well, his rper knowing this was an old thread but deciding it was important anyways. In his time here he had learned quite a bit about StormClan culture- though he definitely didn't know all of it. He still didn't quite trust them yet, but this guild thing seemed like something he should do. A thing he should join. Wat sounded pretty straight forward and simple enough- just how he liked it. "I'll join the war guild." he said.

*facepalm* how did I not see that
Ok sorry
How about Day of the Dead instead?

Well he was kinda late. But in his defense he was still figuring out the ambassador thing and where in the world ThunderClan was in the first place. Turns out their name isn't even ThunderClan anymore like he had been told, it was the Thunderlands. A slight difference, but enough to cause a lot of confusion. Well he was here, bearing a basket of gifts because he had been told he needed to bring them. Inside were some flower crowns and some things he found relating to thunder and lightning because he thought they pertained to ThunderClan- wait no it was Thunderlands. Italy needed to get that right. There were some books and some pencils and papers too- for those who were artsy. The border collie sat down at the border, calling out "Hola? Hello? I'm Italy, the new ambassador from StormClan." and waiting for a response. If there wasn't anyone nearby then he'd have to rely on calling out again and hoping his voice carried far enough. Hopefully it didn't come to that.

What civil war? Sounds like fun if it's pulled off right

Wheeze ok I'll just stick with the haunted trails one shot contest
I can offer art as a prize, anyone else have prize ideas?
-
Kinda, but it's not actually haunted, it's just people acting (there could be actual ghosts and stuff tho since this is FeralFront?). My idea was to have people write a oneshot about their character walking through the trails or being in the trails. Like a haunted house but outdoors. It can be a contest with prizes/badges or just a cool (hopefully) muse boosting event. I'd still need to figure out what's actually in the haunted trails so people can write about it tho

Meetings were important, and things he had accidentally skipped. He hadn't been near the camp when they were called, so he hadn't heard them, and thus only knew they had happened when he got back and people were talking about it. At least this time he was close enough to see the giant roar of flames, jump back in a startled manner, only to realize it was friggin Fernando again. "Oi you need to stop scaring me like this." he muttered, mostly mad at himself for getting surprised like that. He went over and sat down, listening as the lion talked. You'd think that with an intro like that, the meeting would be more exciting? Politics, which was something he needed to keep up on, was boring in all honesty. It was the important stuff that was boring. "I can be BloodClan's ambassador, and as for an event, we could play a big game of truth or dare? It'd be interesting with them." the male said. "Oh and congrats to those promoted." he added. Can't forget about that!

Two creature approached him, on earth introducing themself as the leader. He gave a small bow of his head in respect. If this dude was leader then he probably dealt with a lot of crap- now he's not trying to say that this is a bad place, just that a lot of people's go directly to the top for silly little things. "Timmy stole my toy!" "No, it was my toy to begin with!" And then you have an embarrassed mother and punished kids. "I'm not sure how up to date you guys are as I'm still pretty new, but if you don't know our new leader is Fernando and we switched to a more magic and intelligence based theme. We have guilds and weekly discussions and the like, almost like an altered form of school." he said. Then the border collie realized he was practically ignoring the other one who showed up. Oops. "Thank you for the offer, but I'm good. It's a pleasure to meet you." he said, retuning the dip in greeting and gently pushing the gift basket forwards so they could have it. This wasn't so hard eh? He quite liked this ambassador job. "How's the Thunderlands?" Italy added.
